3-Year-Old Chihuahua Traped At The High-Kill Shelter Facing Dark Future Without A Home To Call Her Own

When you try and all else seems to fail, life just seems not worth living anymore. For one shelter pup named TINA, her efforts seem like they are not paying off whatsoever. The 3-year-old, Chihuahua is presently in a kennel run at the high-kill Riverside County Animal Control.

The formally high-spirited pup, who was the first to greet shelter patrons as they walked by her kennel in the most joyful manner, is now reduced to slumped shoulders and tears. For some strange reason, no one wants to give TINA a second chance, and so he all but gave up trying and understandably so.

Riverside County Animal Control is one of those places that strips the hopeful of pure positivity and energy and TINA is the perfect example. The high energy pup, who thought his stay at the high kill facility would be a temporary one, is now starting to plan a dark future without a home to call her own. Sad indeed.

A Petharbor listing for TINA reads,

“I am a female, black and tan Chihuahua - Smooth Coated. The shelter staff think I am about 3 years old.”

Speak Up, if you or someone you know is interested in giving this precious pup the forever family she rightfully deserves, please contact the Riverside County Animal Control - City of Colton at (951) 358-7387 and reference the shelter ID #A1348099.

Additionally, please share this story on Facebook or Twitter, so we are closer to finding TINA a family he deserves. We have done it before and can certainly do it again.
