12 Year Old Senior Pup Surrendered To High Kill Shelter, Cries Before He Sleeps

Nothing could ever prepare you for life at the notoriously high kill, Miami-Dade Animal Services also known as the MDAS. The smells, chaos, noise and confusion that fills the air, is something no human, let alone an innocent dog should ever have to experience in their lives.

The cash-strapped, city-funded shelter is grappling with overcrowding, and so to “maintain population control” the shelter results to euthanasia to free up valuable kennel space. For one dog named Asabache, the stakes couldn’t be any higher.

The 12-year old senior pup is facing the betrayal of his life after his owner decided he wanted to do away with him for good. And so he rounded up his things and mercilessly surrendered the terrified pup to the MDAS to fend for himself.

Today, all the sad-faced Asabache can do is aimlessly stare out of his cage, hoping and wishing for a forever family that might take a chance on him. Speak Up! if you or someone you know is interested in giving this precious pup the forever family he deserves, please contact the MDAS at (305) 884-1101 and reference the shelter ID #A1842716.

Additionally, please share this story on Facebook or Twitter, so we are closer to finding this pup a home. We have done it before, and can certainly do it again.
