Owner surrendered: the worst feeling in the world is believing nobody wants you

Think of a time in your life when you felt worthless like nobody cared whether or not you were taken care of both emotionally and physically. Only then can you begin to empathize with a small pup by the name of NILAH, who languish behind in the high kill Miami Dade animal services, praying for a miracle.

Miami Dade animal services, a high kill facility located in 3599 NW 79th Ave, Doral, FL 33166, is not the place where hope abounds. The dogs and cats living in the facility are given just weeks, and sometimes even just days to find forever families before they are “humanely euthanized,” as they like to term it.

NILAH (A1926961) I am a female black and white Terrier.

The shelter staff think I am about 2 years old and I weigh 13 pounds.

I was turned in by my owner and I am available for adoption. 2018.01.11

NILAH, a small, young, energetic pup who was known to be charming, loving pup who greeted shelter patrons with a paw, is just a shadow of the dog she used to be. According to shelter staff, he spends most of his days curled up in a ball of sadness, too depressed to lift her head up anymore. Sad indeed.

Fidonation, if you or someone you know is interested in giving this precious pup the forever family she rightfully deserves, please contact the Miami Dade animal services at 305–884-1101.
